In the past few months three homes across the street from Wegmans, between M&T Bank and Autozone, have been purchased by one individual. These properties border residents on Bayberry Circle and it is expected that this individual may be purchasing additional property and likely will be asking for a zone change on the parcels.
In order to protect property value and quality of life for our residents, the BCA has consistently worked to ensure that any further retail/commercial zone changes on the East side of Rt. 57, between John Glenn Blvd and Wetzel Road be complementary to adjoining residences. The BCA has been instrumental gathering petitions and notifying residents of potential development and zoning changes and have worked with town and county officials on the behalf of Bayberry residents.
Neighbors with concerns about this may contact Judy McVity at 315-652-6093 orĀ judymcv@yahoo.com.
Our contacts with the Town of Clay will be contacting us if there are requests for zoning changes for these properties. We will keep Bayberry residents informed on any further developments with this matter.
Judy McVity, BCA President
