Town of Clay hosted a public scoping meeting on Tuesday, March 19. There was a presentation by local elected officials and Micron representatives. There was also a public comment period. Anyone who wanted to could also submit comments, questions, etc. in written format or an email address was made available.
The proposed Micron microchip fabrication site (located at White Pine Commerce Park, Route 31/Caughdenoy Road) would have a huge impact on many aspects of our community. Factors include traffic, water use, wetland modification, etc.
